Frank van Roest

Frank joined Aqua-Spark in early 2015, just as the first investments were being made, and has been working in the investment team in various capacities. Beginning as an Investment Manager in 2015, Frank headed the investment team from 2018 to 2023. Today, he focuses on taking up board roles across Aqua-Spark’s portfolio companies. He currently serves on the boards of Matorka, Molofeed, Sea6 Energy, Tepbac, Fisher, and Ace Aquatec. Before joining Aqua-Spark, Frank worked as an Associate at Stichting de Verre Bergen, a Venture Philanthropy Fund based in Rotterdam. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in International Economics & Business, both from the University of Groningen.
