Lelena worked for more than 8 years in various International and Private Institutions in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The most recent positions were at the Embassy of Switzerland in different departments; SDC (Swiss development Cooperation), Consular section and Head of Missions. Since joining the Mission, Lelena has pursued a diverse career in numerous divisions. She served as Program Assistant to the Head of Cooperation, advocating humanitarian aid and economic & national self-reliance sustainable development. Subsequently to this assignment she served as the Personal Assistant to the Ambassador and Executive Assistant to the Defense Attaché with overall office management and extensive experience in multilateral affairs. Prior to entering the Consulate, Lelena worked at IOM (UN-Migration) and Private Agri-business consultancy Firm. She holds a BS.C in Computer Science and studied Political Science and International relations.
