Chief Impact Officer (CIO)
As Chief Impact Officer, Rikkert’s focus is to institutionalize, amplify and grow the impact of Aqua-Spark and its portfolio. Rikkert brings decades of experience as institutional investor, where he has worked as both an LP at Alpinvest and was part of several GPs. Inspired by impact investing, Rikkert has dedicated his last three years before joining Aqua-Spark to helping impact managers scale, working with among other Zamo Capital and advising 8 impact funds. As a private initiative Rikkert has founded Investment for Life, a foundation that provides IT-literacy-, Soft&Life- and Business skills to underprivileged children in Cambodia through 8 computer schools with more to come. He gets excited about transformational high growth impact investment opportunities, which perfectly fits with Aqua Spark’s ambitions.
